I Thought I’d Have My Life Together By The Time I Was 35
And I don’t. I thought the same about turning 30. And 25. This might actually be as good as it gets for me.
It’s my birthday today and my life couldn’t be more different now to how I imagined it would be by the time I reached 35. Over the past five years I have moved towns four times. Had my dogs pass away and my long term relationship break down.Lost 50kg and gained 20 back.
I hate the term blessed. It’s become such a wanker way to describe something. But I’m going to use it now with gusto.
I actually get to share this crazy ride called life with some of the most amazing people you could ever meet. I don’t know if I’ll have my life together by the time I’m 40, but I know I won’t be doing it alone. No matter what happens. And that makes me so happy.
